Knockout of EHMT1 in mice results in embryonic lethality [1], haploinsufficiency manifests as a neurodevelopmental disease called Kleefstra Syndrome [84], Copy Number Variations were reported in Schizophrenia [85], and elevated expression was found in several cancers [86,87] and Alzheimer’s Disease [88]. This evidence concerns the gene EHMT1 and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
