HLA-C and cancer: The most important factors to consider while designing a tailor-made cancer vaccine are: (a) Accurate identification of highly potent and immunogenic neoantigens capable of inducing a robust T cell immunity; (b) Calculative estimation of the probability of TSA-epitopes binding to MHC; (c) Neoantigen prioritization to predict the interaction of TCRs with MHC-neoepitope complex; (d) Selecting appropriate delivery platform for neoantigen based vaccine, which may include autologous dendritic cells (DCs), peptides, DNA, RNA, mRNA or viral vectors (144, 145).
