Previous studies showed that CD10+GPR77+ CAF subset provided a survival niche for cancer stem cells and induced drug resistance in breast and lung cancer [32], they found that CCL18-PITPNM3 could induce the information of CD10+GPR77+ CAFs, blocking CCL18-PITPNM3 signal axis could not only reverse chemoresistance and immunosuppression and inhibit cancer progression but also prevent the development of pro-tumor CAFs in the early stage of cancer progression [33].
