While the reductions of tau phosphorylation were reported in the hippocampus of PS19 mice treated with TLR2-interaction domain of the MyD88 (wtTIDM) peptide (Dutta et al., 2023) and in 3 × Tg-AD mice treated with TLR9 agonists, short synthetic single-stranded DNA molecules containing unmethylated cytosine-guanosine oligodeoxynucleotides (CpG ODNs; Scholtzova et al., 2014).
