Alterations in the tumor suppressor genes (TSGs) RB1, PTEN, and TP53 are associated to aggressive variants of prostate cancer (AVPC) and neuroendocrine (NE) dedifferentiation in castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC), as well as poor prognosis and reduced response to conventional treatments [3], [4]. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and prostate carcinoma.
