PDK1 is a gatekeeper enzyme involved in altered glucose metabolism in tumors, and its expression is strongly correlated with tumor stage, degrees of invasion and metastasis, and overall survival.[11b] Bioinformatic analysis of the microarray dataset GSE63514 revealed that the PDK1 gene expression level gradually increased with increasing lesion severity during the progression of cervical lesions (Figure 1B). The gene discussed is PDK1; the disease is neoplasm.
