PIWIL2 and cancer: The LIN28/let‐7 axis has been reported to facilitate aerobic glycolysis to promote cancer progression.[14b] In this study, PIWIL2 overexpression in HaCaT cells induced LIN28 upregulation, particularly that of LIN28A (Figure 7A,B), and PDK1 (Figures 2A and 7C), which also were observed in HCBC stably transfected with PIWIL2 or E6 (Figure 2A,B and Figure S10A,B, Supporting Information).
