By separating the cytoplasmic and nuclear proteins, we found that, compared with p65/S536A-overexpressing HCC cells, the entry of NF-κB p65 into the nucleus was significantly reduced in p65/S536D-overexpressing cells, which is consistent with previous studies on NF-κB p65 nuclear dynamics [24, 31]. This evidence concerns the gene RELA and hepatocellular carcinoma.
