FASLG and autoimmune polyendocrinopathy: The updated Sapporo criteria, currently the most widely utilized standard, mandates the existence of at least one clinical event (confirmed thrombosis in arteries, veins, or small vessels and/or pregnancy-related morbidity) and at least one persistently positive antiphospholipid antibody (aPL) test [lupus anticoagulant (LA), anticardiolipin (aCL), or anti-beta2 glycoprotein 1(aB2GP1)] for a formal diagnosis of APS (1).
