This malignancy, which can metastasize or spread beyond the primary site, is categorized into several subtypes based on its receptor status and genetic features: hormone receptor-positive, HER2-positive, and triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC).1 Hormone receptor-positive breast cancer, which includes estrogen receptor (ER) and/or progesterone receptor (PR) positive subtypes, typically exhibits a slower progression and is more amenable to hormonal therapies such as tamoxifen or aromatase inhibitors.
