ALB and metabolic syndrome: Multivariate weighted logistic regression model revealed that compared to the Q1 group of serum albumin concentration, the risks of developing MetS decreased by 27% (OR 0.73, 95% CI 0.64–0.82, P < 0.001) in the Q2 group, 34% (OR 0.66, 95% CI 0.59–0.74, P < 0.001) in the Q3 group, and 51% (OR 0.49, 95% CI 0.43–0.55, P < 0.001) in the Q4 group.
