Breast milk exosomes containing high levels of transforming growth factor‐β2 (TGFβ2) induce changes in both benign and malignant breast epithelial cells, which is consistent with the development and progression of breast cancer and suggests a role for high TGFβ2‐expressing breast milk exosomes in influencing breast cancer risk (Hannafon et al., 2016; Lowry et al., 2015; Miura et al., 2022; Ramezani et al., 2023; Zeng, Wang, et al., 2021). Here, TGFB2 is linked to breast cancer.
