The majority of the cohort received chemotherapy (BRCA1 PV carriers: 81%, BRCA2 PV carriers: 68%, noncarriers: 64%) and radiotherapy (BRCA1 PV carriers: 52%, BRCA2 PV carriers: 55%, noncarriers: 66%) and did not receive hormonal therapy (BRCA1 PV carriers: 86%, BRCA2 PV carriers: 70%, noncarriers: 74%) by 1 year after BC diagnosis. This evidence concerns the gene BRCA2 and breast cancer.
