To further characterize tumor cells with and without GPA33 expression, we analyzed a subset of 14 CRC cases using double immunofluorescence and confocal microscopy for key cell state markers of WNT activity (β-catenin), EMT (LAMC2), differentiation (E-cadherin), and proliferation (Ki67) (Fig. 1B–E). The gene discussed is GPA33; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
