This includes the identification of six cytokines (C‐C motif chemokine 19, C‐X‐C motif chemokine 1, Fms‐related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand, Interleukin‐18, Leukaemia inhibitory factor receptor and Monocyte chemoattractant protein‐1) associated with AD, Tumour necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 12 linked to ALS, CD40L receptor influencing MS and Interleukin‐12 subunit beta impacting PD (Figure 2). This evidence concerns the gene CD40 and Parkinson disease.
