Indeed we can show that sarcomatoid MIBCs, which exhibit the highest levels of HLA-G tumor cell expression, belong predominantly to a recently described spatially organized immune phenotype (“Evasion phenotype”) whose TIME is dominated by immunosuppressive T and myeloid cells as well as a marked expression of immune inhibitory immune checkpoint molecules like PD-L1 and PD-1 on tumor cells or immune cells (11).
