IL1B and dermatitis: Figures 6E–G illustrated significant cytokine elevation in the UV-exposed model group compared to the control control, confirming UV’s role in exacerbating skin inflammation. After 7 days of treatment, significant reductions in IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α were observed in both the MTX and EHMF-treated groups, with the TNF-α reduction notably pronounced in the EHMF groups. Additionally, EGFR levels, crucial for maintaining skin homeostasis and abnormally increased by UV exposure, were effectively normalized in the treatment groups (Figure 6H).
