We further revealed that expression of Wnt5b, but not that of Ror2, Wnt5a, and Wnt11, is significantly higher in the skeletal muscles from patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) than in those from unaffected control using deposited dataset in Gene Expression Omnibus (GSE38417) (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo/) (Supplementary Fig. 11). This evidence concerns the gene WNT5A and Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
