Ten patients were diagnosed with glioblastomas (WHO grade 4, isocitrate dehydrogenase [IDH] wildtype), four with metastasis (primary: two malignant melanoma, two nonsmall cellular lung cancer), two with astrocytoma (WHO grade 3, IDH mutant), and one with a primary central nervous system lymphoma. This evidence concerns the gene IDH3A and astrocytoma (excluding glioblastoma).
