NPPB and Hyponatremia: LS achieved similar decongestion compared to NS. NS led to lower NT-proBNP levels (p = 0.04), higher mean blood pressure (p = 0.03), and lower heart rate (p = 0.02). LS had lower serum sodium levels (p = 0.04) and showed a higher incidence of hyponatremia (22%). Mean hospitalization duration was shorter in the NS group (p = 0.02). No significant difference in 30-day readmission rates between groups (p = 1.0).
