In the middle stage of infection, OSBPL1A and PIP4K2G, and, in the late stage of infection, PIP3K2B, PI4KA, and PI4K2A, were differentially expressed, revealing a profound transcriptional dysregulation of host genes of the PI4P/OSBP pathway, thus suggesting the importance of STING as well as the PI4P pathway for RO-generating RNA viruses. The gene discussed is OSBPL1A; the disease is infection.
