Interestingly, C. papaya treatment in hyperglycaemia-induced HepG2 cells led to a decrease in SOD2 protein expression in HGL500 (0.2755 ± 0.02706 RBD, p = 0.0198) and HGL1000 (0.3486 ± 0.004017 RBD, p = 0.0672) by 0.53 and 0.83, respectively. The gene discussed is SOD2; the disease is Hyperglycemia.
