As a result, the inflammatory cytokines MCP3, IL-5, and macrophage colony-stimulating factor (MCSF) were associated with a greater risk of cirrhosis (MCP3: IVW-OR = 1.021, 95% CI: 0.988–1.054; p = 0.021; IL-5: IVW-OR = 1.010, 95% CI: 1.002–1.018; p = 0.016; MCSF: IVW-OR = 1.003, 95% CI: 1.001–1.006; p = 0.011), while IP10 (IVW-OR = 0.741, 95% CI: 0.684–0.802; p < 0.001) was associated with a reduced risk of cirrhosis, according to the IVW method (Figure 2 and Figure 3).
