Previous work from Ji and colleagues suggested that treatment with PARPi could enhance therapy efficacy of CAR-T cell therapy through activating the cGAS-STING signal [82]; Zhou et al. found that a combination of PARPi and DNA hypomethylation agents could effectively inhibit tumor progression among SETD2-deficient ccRCC [83]. This evidence concerns the gene CGAS and nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma.
