Loci for the other genes—PTP4A1, APOBR, BMS1P4-AGAP5, MAPK8IP1P1, GYS2, FAM25C, and GK5–were formerly associated with traits involved with comorbidities of OSA, i.e., BMI, weight, triglycerides, blood pressure, stroke, brain volume, cortical thickness, mood, insulin, and diabetes [27]. Here, GYS2 is linked to stroke disorder.
