Patients diagnosed with COVID-19 had higher levels of proinflammatory cytokines (IL-6, IL-7, IL-15, IL-18, IL-27, and TNFα); chemokines (CCL2/MCP-1, CCL3/MIP-1α, CCL7/MCP-3, CCL22/MDC, CXCL8/IL-8, CXCL9/MIG, and CXCL10/IP-10); anti-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1RA and IL-10); growth factors (FGF-2/FGF-basic and G-CSF); and sCD40L. This evidence concerns the gene CCL7 and COVID-19.
