TXNIP and glioblastoma: Another study demonstrated that high cytoplasmic TrxR expression was significantly associated with adverse overall survival in patients with glioblastoma (p = 0.027), low-grade glioma (p = 0.027), high-grade glioma (p = 0.027), and medulloblastoma (p = 0.027) and that nuclear TrxR and TxNIP expression levels were associated with improved overall survival (p = 0.033 and p = 0.007, respectively) only in patients with low-grade glioma [44].
