To investigate how ASFV modulates the autophagy–lysosome axis, we used ASFV genotype II strain HN09 as a model organism and started with investigating the effect of viral infection on the localization of key lysosomal membrane proteins (LAMP1 and LAMP2) that are important for maintaining the function of the lysosome and the fusion of the autophagosome and lysosome. The gene discussed is LAMP1; the disease is viral infectious disease.
