Here we confirmed that single cultures yeast strains (Figure 7A) induce the production of the pro-inflammatory cytokine TNF-ɑ, whereas both the mixture of YH1 (Crohn’s disease) with B1 (commercial probiotic) and the co-culture of CL4 with TJA9 (both isolated from the fermented beverage) strongly increase the production of the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 compared to the control (Figure 7B). Here, IL10 is linked to Crohn disease.
