PTH and hypercalcemia disease: Likewise, the poor imaging and surgical strategies followed in a non-parathyroid expert center led to reoperation decision in our patient, due to persistent hypercalcemia, and elevated PTH levels in the presence of thymic adenoma failed to be removed during the initial operation which was performed with use of neither the intraoperative PTH monitoring nor the frozen section diagnosis along with the final pathological diagnosis of benign lymph nodes.
