In this study, we report CRBN as a measurable marker for the early diagnosis of PD due to its ability to fine-tune the in vitro and in vivo neuroprotective effects of DJ1 and DNAJB6 (DJ6) toward synucleinopathies induced by 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP) and PFFs. The gene discussed is DNAJB8; the disease is Parkinson disease.
