By analyzing the TIMER database, CCT6A is significantly higher at the transcriptional levels in majority kind of cancers, such as CESC (cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma), COAD (colon adenocarcinoma), GBM (glioblastoma multiforme), HNSC (head and neck squamous cell carcinoma), KIRP (kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma), LIHC (liver hepatocellular carcinoma), LUAD (lung adenocarcinoma), LUSC (lung squamous cell carcinoma), READ (rectum adenocarcinoma), STAD (stomach adenocarcinoma), and so on (Figure 1A). This evidence concerns the gene CCT6A and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
