HLA-A and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma: A recently conducted study hypothesized that there might be associations between the frequencies of human leukocyte antigen (HLA) alleles and the survival of tumor patients, and the findings revealed that HLA-A*02, the most prevalent allele in patients with HNSCC, was associated with improved OS and PFS (HR, 0.54; 95% CI: 0.31-0.92; p = 0.023).
