A significant statistical association was found between the ER and PR status with histopathological features like DCIS grade, DCIS type, and presence or absence of comedo necrosis (P = 0.046, 0.012, and 0.045, respectively, for ER and 0.016, <0.01, and <0.01, respectively, for PR), while no significant association was found between the ER and PR with the location of the tumor (P >0.05) (Tables 1, 2). Here, PGR is linked to ductal breast carcinoma in situ.
