Primary and metastatic tumors differed in T-cell subtype abundance (Fig. 5D), driven by a higher proportion of antigen-experienced phenotypes (exhausted CD8 T cells and Tfh cells) and of cytotoxic CD8+ T cells in metastases relative to matched PT, and by lower proportions of CD7+ CD8 T cells and developing Treg phenotypes (Fig. 5E), consistent also with cell density analyses (Supplementary Fig. S14B). This evidence concerns the gene CD7 and metastatic neoplasm.
