CRP and periventricular leukomalacia: Gestational age, birthweight, weight gain, LOS, apnea, feeding intolerance, tachycardia, hypoactivity, thermal instability, BPD, PVL/IVH, invasive ventilation, blood sample results (complete blood picture, coagulation profile and CRP level), and transfusion needs significantly increase, while intake of BC significantly decreased ROP occurrence.
