Our findings revealed that entry into p53-dependent TIS of two colon cancer cell lines in response to two different chemotherapeutic agents was accompanied with a decrease in overall O-GlcNAcylation levels associated with reduced expression of GFAT and OGT (Fig. 1, Supplementary Fig. S3 and S4). The gene discussed is GFPT1; the disease is malignant colon neoplasm.
