Further analysis results showed consistent upregulation of these eight genes (CLEC10A, SIGLEC7, CD244, S100A12, CCR2, FCGR3A, CD163, CYBB) in COPD samples from the GSE100153 dataset (Fig 3A–3H), indicating that they could be crucial in the pathogenesis of COPD. This evidence concerns the gene CLEC10A and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
