Further analysis results showed consistent upregulation of these eight genes (CLEC10A, SIGLEC7, CD244, S100A12, CCR2, FCGR3A, CD163, CYBB) in COPD samples from the GSE100153 dataset (Fig 3A–3H), indicating that they could be crucial in the pathogenesis of COPD. Here, CCR2 is linked to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
