MAP2K7 and melanoma: Interestingly, only 37% (20/54) of patients in our cohort had a BRAF mutation, which is lower than reported in larger studies, which report a frequency of around 50% of primary melanomas.30,31 This may reflect a selection bias given the widespread use of BRAF/MEK inhibitors for patients with activating BRAF mutations, and a decreased need among these patients for additional treatments such as T-VEC.
