Cancer cells possess various ncRNAs, which are present in the bloodstream as inclusions in exosomes.15,16 Comprehensive sequencing, represented by NGS, has been used to search for ncRNAs derived from blood samples.17–21 Efforts have been made to predict the efficacy of NAT in esophageal cancer treatment by identifying blood-derived ncRNAs, represented by miRNAs.22–24 However, reports on ncRNAs derived from blood samples after NAT are limited.
