Body mass index (HR, 1.08; 95% CI, 1.02–1.14; P = 0.011 for the total cohort; and HR, 1.13; 95% CI, 1.04–1.21; P = 0.002 for the men cohort) and R-SOD activity (HR, 1.14; 95% CI, 1.06–1.22; P = 0.001 for the total cohort; and HR, 1.15; 95% CI, 1.06–1.26; P = 0.002 for the men cohort) were significantly associated with increased risk of cancer.
