This identified that high PIF1 expression was associated with reduced overall patient survival (HR > 1) in seven of the 33 tumour types analysed (Figure 7B-H), including adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC, P = 1.73e-05), cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL, P = 1.38e-02), kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC, P = 5.23e-06), brain lower grade glioma (LGG, P = 3.79e-06), mesothelioma (MESO, P = 3.79e-06), primary skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM, P = 6.563–03), and uveal melanoma (UVM, P = 3.99e-02). The gene discussed is PIF1; the disease is mesothelioma.
