CAMK2A and systemic lupus erythematosus: CaMKIIα+ pyramidal neurons showed substantial activity-dependent changes in DFGABAA, exhibiting shifts in polarity from a hyperpolarizing DFGABAA at baseline to a depolarising DFGABAA immediately post-SLE, which then returned to a hyperpolarizing DFGABAA >  2 min after the SLE (Fig. 4b).
