We generated venR-AML cell lines (venR-MOLM-13, venR-Kasumi-1, and venR-MV4-11), which exhibited drastically reduced sensitivity to venetoclax (>100-fold) but retained their sensitivity to MCL1 inhibition, as compared to their parental counterparts (Fig. 1a–c). The gene discussed is MCL1; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
