Several immune effector cell (IEC) therapies targeting B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) have been approved by the United States (US) Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of multiple myeloma (MM), including chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapies such as idecabtagene vicleucel (ide-cel) and ciltacabtagene autoleucel (cilta-cel) [1, 2].
