In Cambodia, 3 programmes piloted the use of new diagnostics including quantitative Glucose 6 Phosphate Dehydrogenase (G6PD) biosensors [63], NS1 dengue rapid tests (SD Bioline Dengue Duo) [64], and multiplex biosensors for malaria, dengue virus, zika virus, chikungunya virus, leptospirosis, Rickettsia typhi, Burkholderia pseudomallei, and Orientia tsutsugamushi [66]. The gene discussed is G6PD; the disease is leptospirosis.
