One very recent study conducted in human pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cell lines revealed that inhibition of extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) led to dephosphorylation of Cdc20 and concomitant loss of APC/C target proteins securin and cyclin B (CCNB1 and CCNB2) (Klomp et al., 2024). This evidence concerns the gene APC and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
