The group treated with a combination of rosuvastatin RD and curcumin had a significantly lower concentration of serum creatinine (48, IQR 45–49 vs 84, IQR 75–87; P ═ 0.043) and a significantly higher concentration of serum albumin (5.30, IQR 5.10–5.40 vs 0.80, IQR 0.80–0.80; P ═ 0.006) compared to the CKD control group. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and chronic kidney disease.
