Diagnosis of MTC in 2010/recurrent metastatic disease, diagnosed by elevated CEA and calcitonin in 2012, the patient positive uptake in the right adrenal gland and pancreatic head/a further CT scan revealed metastases in the right adrenal gland, the duodenal bulb, and two pancreatic lesions, which were later confirmed as metastases by endoscopic ultrasound and cytology. The gene discussed is CALCA; the disease is medullary thyroid gland carcinoma.
