ALK and glioma: Interestingly, infants with ALK-fused, morphologically HG gliomas have a worse outcome (42.9% overall survival in ALK-fused HG gliomas at a median follow-up of 3 years versus overall survival of 100% in ALK-fused LG gliomas at a median follow-up of 5 years) and tend to be diagnosed at an older age (median = 5.0 months versus 1.6 months old) compared to ALK-fused LG gliomas [13,15].
