These rare BRAF fusions have been reported in grade 2 and 3 pleomorphic xanthoastrocytoma, pilocytic astrocytoma and low-grade glial/glioneuronal tumors, not otherwise specified (NOS) [43,45], and constitute a small minority of all BRAF-fused gliomas. This evidence concerns the gene BRAF and pleomorphic xanthoastrocytoma.
