This study utilized a transcriptomic approach to profile allergen repertoires across eight fish species commonly implicated in fish allergies, which successfully identified and quantified 34 putative allergens, highlighting six highly expressed (PV, GAPDH, aldolase, enolase, creatine, and tropomyosin) and six relatively low-expressed (LDH, TPI, PK, PG, GPI, and alpha-actinin) allergens. This evidence concerns the gene TPI1 and allergic disease.
